Set a table with the most affectionate pattern Morris ever drew. He designed Strawberry Thief in 1883 inspired by the thrushes that raided the strawberry beds in his kitchen garden at Kelmscott Manor. Birds facing one another across a tangle of fruit and foliage, a design that rewards a second look and a third. Recolored in our studio in seven exclusive palettes, from the soft indigo of Country Blue to the deep warmth of Crimson Berry.
Cut from 100% cotton sateen, which gives the birds a low sheen and lets the cloth fall in soft folds over the table edge. The extra-wide cotton means most sizes come from a single width, so nothing interrupts the pattern across the middle of the table.
Eight sizes — 70 and 90 inch squares and rounds, and lengths to 144 inches for a long table with the leaves in.
NOTE: our tablecloths are Made-to-Order. Please allow 2-3 weeks for production for square and rectangular tablecloths. Please allow 3-4 weeks for round tablecloths.
